The Life Scientific on BBC radio

For those interested in the relevance of science to our society, I can very much recommend The Life Scientific on BBC radio: “Professor Jim Al-Khalili talks to leading scientists about their life and work, finding out what inspires and motivates them and asking what their discoveries might do for mankind” The podcasts of the program can be found on this website:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b015sqc7

One of the interviews is with the astronomer Dame Jocelyn Bell-Burnell who discovered the first four radio pulsars in the ’70s. Bell-Burnell is also a person with strong religious convictions and considers Quaker worship as central to her life. A script of an interview with Bell-Burnell on her views on science and religion can be found here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/programmes/belief/scripts/jocelyn_bell_burnell.html

Could be hard to find educated individuals about this matter, but you seem like you know what you are preaching about! Thanks
